There was a time when we could laugh.
\nHave loads of fun playing in the grass.
\nRiding our bikes everywhere.
\nEnjoying life without a care.<\/p>\n

That was back in 1957
\nIt seemed almost like heaven.
\nLife was easy, & loads of fun.
\nPlenty of love for everyone.<\/p>\n

All those days have come and gone.
\nThere is not much now to look upon.
\nNo more longing in my eye.
\nIt is enough to make one cry.<\/p>\n
See all the pretty little horses.<\/p>\n
So I look at the merry go round.
\nFaster and faster, it spins around.
\nAll the pretty little horses flash by.
\nLike past memories, I think, with a sigh.<\/p>\n

Nothing left, but the horses to see.
\nSeems I\u2019ve lost the best part of me.
\nPretty little horses to carry on.
