\nYou can see the scenery fly by.
\nYou\u2019re not in a plane or any such thing.
\nYet, you\u2019re flying, like you had wings.
\nYou\u2019re like a bird. How can this be?
\nYou\u2019re flying high, feeling free.
\nThere is no fear in what you\u2019re doing.
\nYou\u2019re having lots of fun. No fooling.
\nIs it imagination, or a vivid dream?
\nMaybe it is much more than it seems.
\nHave you thought about how to land?
\nYou need to survive,—- if you can.
\nThe sweat starts popping out of your head.
\nThen, you make a perfect landing, in your bed.
\nSo,—- I guess it was all a dream?
\nYet, it was much more than it seemed.
\nYou can\u2019t remember going to bed.
\nThe whole thing is driving you out of your head.
\nDid you take a hallucinogenic drug?
\nDid you lick a Colorado river toad? Uggh.
\nMaybe \u2018magic mushrooms\u2019 did the trick?
\nOr maybe some LSD on a stick?
\nNo, you never touch stuff like that.
\nThe thought would make you puke in your hat.
\nMaybe it was that Superman movie you saw?
\nOr possibly that pizza you ate at the in laws?
\nNone of this makes any sense.
\nMaybe it was a way to circumvent?
\nAvoid a nasty situation by just \u2018flying off\u2019?
\nHard to be bothered when you are aloft.
\nYou feel like Snoopy in his WW I adventures.
\nYou should sell this. Put it in dispensers.
\nBut, you don\u2019t even know what it is?
\nMaybe, you were just reacting to her kiss?
\nShe sends you into orbit, you know.
