A Storybook Romance<\/p>\n
I met her at the market place in old Hong Kong.
\nThe only Americans, we instantly got along.
\nI wondered what she was doing there?
\nShe said it was business only. I swear.
\nI said too bad. It was a good place for fun.
\nDrink a little Saki and go for a run.
\nA run on the beach, or just see the sights.
\nShe said I had a real way to entice.
\nShe was free the next day, so off we went.
\nSightseeing, not concerned about what we spent.
\nWe ran on the beach. Swam a little too.
\nThere were tons of things to do.
\nAfter a day, or more, of this, she left for home.
\nI said I would call her on the phone.
\nShe was from the California coast, near S.F.
\nAn area I loved the most. Sorry I left.
\nA week later I gave her a call.
\nWe went to wine country and had a ball.
\nThe Napa Valley was very beautiful.
\nThere was lots to drink & eat till full.
\nI told her that this is where I actually lived.
\nShe said: \u201cReally!\u201d, as she used her bib.
\n\u201cWe are almost neighbors, you know.\u201d
\n\u201cYet, we met in Hong Kong. What a show.\u201d
\nTime passed by, like it always does.
\nBefore long, her and I became us.
\nTraveling was a big part of our time.
\nI didn\u2019t mind, since she was mine.
\nYou know how these stories go.
\nBefore long, another joined us for the show.
\nWe named him Peter. Pete for short.
\nHe won an award for his book report.
\nWe asked him what book he had read.
\nHe said none. It was based on our lives instead.<\/p>\n
