\nThey developed some amazing powers.
\nThey could predict rain, or just a shower.
\nThey could see a plane fly overhead.
\nTell you who was onboard & who they wed.
\nGiven any object at all, they knew its history.
\nRight back to the day it was made. No mystery.
\nThey could track better than the best blood hound.
\nThey could even \u2018root out\u2019 an evil clown.
\nSuch powers haven\u2019t been known before.
\nWhere did they come from? What\u2019s at its core?
\nThe word is, an alien handled the \u2018glob.\u2019
\nNo, it wasn\u2019t Uncle Bob.<\/p>\n
He is an alien too.
\nBut, not the kind we were exposed to.
\nWhat was the object with such a gift?
\nDid he make other aliens miffed?
\nSuch powers in our hands could be a hazard.
\nElection day would go bad for the bastards.
