I looked and right out my window
\nWas a reminder of all the love I could kindle.
\nThe prettiest tree on the block.
\nIt was everything that I am not.
\nIt reminded me of all that you are.
\nThe prettiest girl on the block by far.
\nEvery beautiful thing I see around me
\nReminds me of the beauty in you I see.
\nI don\u2019t see myself in this class.
\nYet, you see me as a beauty that lasts.
\nI will take it, and all that you give.
\nYou\u2019re a fountain of youth that helps me live.
\nI bathe in your beauty daily.
\nSoak it up like the sun soaks up all that\u2019s shady.
\nThe end result is that I am a better person.
\nFor nothing from you could make me worsen.
\nIs that word?—- I really don\u2019t care.
\nAs long as you are with me everywhere.
\nThey say beauty is only skin deep.
\nBut, it is what\u2019s inside that makes you so sweet.
\nYou treat others like they were precious gold.
\nSomething precious to have and to hold.
\nNo wonder others think you are a real prize.
\nThey envy me for our loving ties.
\nThat is fine. Just don\u2019t let it ever change.
\nSometimes simple love is hard to explain.<\/p>\n
