Dreaming I Ruled The Land<\/p>\n
It\u2019s time. Something has got to be done.
\nI\u2019m not talking of the wars we\u2019ve won.
\nIt would be different if I ruled the land.
\nNo more \u2018macho\u2019 to prove you\u2019re the man.
\nAll would be content and having fun.
\nThere would be enough for everyone.
\nAll would feel peace and contentment.
\nYou wouldn\u2019t wonder what it all meant.
\nI\u2019m not talking Socialism, or any such thing.
\nAll would have what they could bring.
\nMessengers would be sent to all lands.
\nThe message would spread like sifting sand.
\nSoon to cover every habitat of man.
\nAll would preach it, when they can.
\nThis is how it would be, if I ruled the land.
\nLove would be spread by every man.
\nPeople would work together, gladly.
\nJust to make things better. Sadly,
\nthey would beg to do much more.
\nAll would be welcome at their door.
\nSuch changes take time to come about.
\n\u201cMake it happen,\u201d they would shout.
\nThey would know I am doing all I can.
\nIf I was the one that ruled the land.
\nGiven time, all would be a paradise,
\nThey would want it at any price.
\nYet, it would be free to all people.
\nBe they healthy or be they feeble.
\nIt would be actual reality.
\nAll of the very best quality.
\nSpread to all, like shifting sand.
\nThat is, if I actually ruled the land.<\/p>\n
