The Wind Of Change<\/p>\n
I look out upon the barren and dusty land.
\nThere is little sign at all left from man.
\nThis is said to once be a great city.
\nNot much in sight as far as I can see.
\nHere and there traces of ruins sticking up.
\nLike a giants fingers raising from the muck.
\nAll around, the forest is closing in.
\nSoon, it will cover it all again.
\nMan\u2019s time has come and gone.
\nThere was a time when he was strong.
\nHe ruled the world and all that was in it.
\nBut, for mother earth, he didn\u2019t give a sh–.
\nHe became so arrogant he destroyed his race.
\nVery little reminders remain in any place.
\nThe wind of change has covered all.
\nMan returned to dust after his fall.
\nMother earth is returning to her glory.
\nThe wind of change has done it for free.
\nMan is gone, but nature goes on.
\nSoon, another will sing their song.
\nI pray they learn from what\u2019s left of man.
\nTry to realize what happened, if they can.
\nThe chances of this are pretty slim.
\nThe learning must come from within.
\nThe only constant is the wind of change.
\nBe one with it, or you won\u2019t remain.<\/p>\n
