You were dancing in the moonlight.
\nYour eyes were alight, your face bright.
\nI didn\u2019t know who you were ?
\nBut, I liked what I saw, for sure.<\/p>\n
Like a fairy dancing in the wind.
\nYou fluttered all around again.
\nYou didn\u2019t know that I was there.
\nYour eyes were blue, your skin fair.<\/p>\n
You\u2019re a sight I will never forget.
\nEvery move just seemed to fit.
\nI could imagine the pixie dust.
\nBeing stirred up by your lust.<\/p>\n
Like you were one with nature.
\nEvery move had its place here.
\nYou were in a world of your own.
\nThe music was from a heavenly throne.<\/p>\n
It was a song only you could hear.
\nThe wind was whistling in my ear.
\nI was lost in the colors of your dress.
\nBy far, I knew that you were the best.<\/p>\n
Eventually, you noticed me standing there.
\nYou brushed some leaves from your hair.
\nYou approached, a smile on your lips.
\nWas I really going to be part of this?<\/p>\n
I joined you in your dance to the moon.
\nMy feelings racing, my heart did swoon.
\nBefore I knew it, it was all over.
\nYou gave me a hug, standing in clover.<\/p>\n
Then, suddenly, you were gone.
\nI have no idea what went wrong.
\nFirst you were there, then you were not.
\nI looked around, glued to the spot.<\/p>\n
Were you my imagination or not?
\nMaybe it never happened, I thought.
\nBut, then I got a whiff of your scent.
\nI knew it was real and all that it meant.<\/p>\n
Every full moon I look for you.
\nWherever you go, I\u2019m going to.
\nI refuse to stay behind.
\nYou and I are one of a kind.<\/p>\n
