He sat, back leaning against a tree.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Polishing the metal of his weaponry.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

His metal mesh vest was spotless.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He was thorough. He did not miss.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Yet, he would soon smear it all with mud.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Cut down glare as much as he could.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Some called him a killer, some a knight.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

When he killed, he did it right.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He was the king\u2019s secret assassin.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

None knew his skills. They didn\u2019t ask him.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He worked mostly at night when dark.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

None knew he was around. He was smart.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It was always those who needed killing.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They were well protected, but he was willing.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He did his job and he did it well.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

His victim died before he could yell.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He was highly skilled in all known weaponry.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

His hand to hand skills were the best you would see.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

No matter how hard, he didn\u2019t back down.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He was paid well. That\u2019s why he stayed around.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

No one knew his real name.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He had no friends. He had no fame.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Nothing he did was ever tied to him.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He remained a common man so he could win.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Anomaly was one of his best tools.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He only followed his own rules.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He never got close to anyone.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Always paranoid, he trusted no one.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He was almost assassinated while doing a job.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

To him, that was extremely odd.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He went all out to find out who it was.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They were hired by someone, was the buzz.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Through very crafty detective work,<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

he tracked down the little twerp.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It turned out to be a female. <\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

His attack on her did not fail.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

But, first he found out who hired her.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Before long, they were dead for sure.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

This was the life of The King\u2019s secret assassin.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He remains alone. That is his passion.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He has standards that he follows.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

All of his own making. They are not hollow.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They are all to keep him alive.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Keep it so his business will thrive.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He is the best at what he does.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Yet, he had to sacrifice who he was.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
