Riding the train from Calif. To Idaho.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

On a trip with nowhere to go.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Watching the deserts of Nevada roll by.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Keeping busy as I try not to cry.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The clickity clack of the wheels remind me of you.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I need more for my mind to do.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I watch as crops come into view.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Tractors moving, men growing food for you.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Small towns flash by every now and then.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The people seem to have peace within.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The sun goes down and the view dims.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Hiding from sight any and all sins.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Having dinner in the dining car.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

My thoughts drift to a place afar.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Better times and better company.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Remembering how happy times can be.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Sleep is restless, the dreams are real.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The rocking car brings sleep anew.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Up early and pacing around.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Not much on this trip to be found.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Finally, I reach my destination.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I depart the train with elation.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then, as I look around this place.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Why am I here? An internal debate.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

A change of scenery is good for me.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Lots of new & different things to see.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

New and different things to do.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

All to help me forget about you.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I was bored to death by the second day.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

This certainly was not the way.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I realized whatever I do, you see.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I can never run away from me.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
