People come and people go.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

All except for Billy Joe.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He kinda just hung around.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He liked what he had found.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Though she paid him no mind.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

At least she was not unkind.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The days turned into months.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then it happened all at once.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Someone had shot her down.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Turned her life upside down.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She was an emotional wreck.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Billy Joe rubbed her neck.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He was supportive and kind.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She was at the end of the line.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She had no idea where to go.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She had never felt so low.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Billy Joe was there to lift her up.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

To help her dig out of this rut.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

In time, she felt much better.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He was there in any weather.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then she finally met another.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Let nothing tear it asunder.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

But, in the end, that died too.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She was hurting as to what to do.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Here came Billy Joe to give support.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He had only good things to report.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He was there till she felt better.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She wrote the guy a \u2018Dear John\u2019 letter.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then, came that terrible day.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Billy Joe was taken away.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It was a terrible accident.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She wondered where he went.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then, she realized he was the one.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Always there through tears and fun.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It hit her like a ton of bricks.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Cut her to her very quick.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Oh, what will she do now?<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Without Billy Joe to help somehow.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then, she remembered what he said.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The night he tucked her into bed.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cTake the good with the bad.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t walk away feeling sad.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cTomorrow will be another day.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThere will always be a way.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She will miss Billy Joe a lot.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He helped her with all she got.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She remembered all he said.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Tomorrow, she will be wed.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He said this day would come.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Billy, I wish you were the one.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
