I spent many years in my search.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Following every lead, for what it\u2019s worth.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You may think it all kind of funny.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

But, I found the land of the flying monkey.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is a place shrouded in mystery.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

A place that doesn\u2019t have a history.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is an island lost in time.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is a place that\u2019s hard to find.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I arrived in the murky mist.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I really wasn\u2019t sure of this.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

My crew and I went ashore.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Like a demon opened a door.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We couldn\u2019t see much in the mist.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I pointed the way and made a fist.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

A jungle started at the shore.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We used machete\u2019s to make a door.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We hacked a trail for a couple miles.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We marched along in single file.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then, we heard a screeching noise.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It sounded like a monkey toy.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Overhead, something flew by.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Scared me so bad I thought I would die.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

More things were seen flying around.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then one landed on the ground.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

A flying monkey. There was no doubt.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

This is what our trip was all about.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They kept their distance. They were smart.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We couldn\u2019t coax one into a cart.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I wouldn\u2019t shoot one. It\u2019s not my way.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We found a skeleton the very next day.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We had pictures and we had the bones.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It was time to leave for home.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We had our proof they did exist.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

There was little that we missed.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We kept the location secret.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Protected the monkey\u2019s, with no regret.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The flying monkeys are still there .<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Living free and flying everywhere.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We have the proof they do exist.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

That\u2019s all we wanted. Cross it off the list.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
