It is warm and cozy within the bed.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The house is colder than an outhouse shed.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

There is no form of heat in here.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Just the oven or electric heater, I fear.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Central heat and air has been out for years.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Almost too cold for Christmas cheer.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

But, the spiked egg nog warms the gut.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Soon, you feel like you\u2019re out of the rut.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Your cheeks are rosy, you\u2019re feeling good.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You\u2019re starting to feel like you should.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You start wrapping presents and things.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is not as bad as it seems.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You send out a batch of Christmas cards.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Put some decorations up in the yard.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Christmas spirit is warming things up.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You play Christmas music and other stuff.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Before long, you\u2019re ready for the day.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Everyone gets together and all say:<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cMerry Christmas and a Happy New Year.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You all take a drink of Christmas cheer.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You exchange presents and open them.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Praise the tree with all its trim.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Later, you have a Christmas dinner.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Yummy enough to last you all winter.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

There is enough love all around<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

for each of you to not wear a frown.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

In our hearts we each remember.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The birth of our savior on this December.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We are happy for each and all the family ties.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then we are yelling, \u201cBring on the pies.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
