Early in the morning.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is coming without warning.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The songbirds stop their singing.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Silence so strong that it is ringing.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is coming home to you.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Way across the meadow.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Something moving in the nettles. <\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t act like they are stinging.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

There is something it is flinging.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is coming home to you.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is coming closer.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Its shadow couldn\u2019t be grosser.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Its arms are almost dragging.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Tail is limber, almost wagging.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is coming home to you.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Its fur is ruffled and dirty.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

In a rush, there go all the birdies.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Its feet are sinking in the field.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It holds its arm up like a shield.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is coming home to you.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Will the nightmare end?<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Why is it coming again?<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

There is no way to help it now.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Not after it slaughtered that cow.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is coming home to you.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is at the front door now.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It has got to go away somehow.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You can hear its grunt and growl.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You get a whiff of something foul.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is coming home to you.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then, you wake up screaming.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You don\u2019t understand the meaning.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

A repeating dream that comes to you.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You\u2019re shaking and you don\u2019t have a clue.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Why it keeps coming home to you.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You get up to have some coffee.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

First you have to stop and take a pee.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You look out the window, coffee in hand.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Something is moving across the land.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is coming home to you.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
