I am very sorry I let you down.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I am sorry I acted like I did, my dear.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I was just trying to cover up my fear.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I know now that I was a real ass.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I acted like someone without any class.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I embarrassed you in front of your friends.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I will never get another date with you again.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I have always been afraid of what I\u2019d do.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I found out on my date with you.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

That was the first real date I have been on.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I felt really sad when you were gone.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I have this built in fear of failure.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I hoped I would overcome it if I \u2018date her.\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

That didn\u2019t work and you hate me for it.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I was hoping I could score a hit.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Once there, I just fell apart & became a jerk.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Whatever I tried, it just didn\u2019t work.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

There is no redemption I could mention.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

If it was a job, I\u2019d lose my pension.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I deserve all that has happened to me.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

But, you didn\u2019t deserve any of it, you see.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The jig is up, I\u2019ll be on my way.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I hope I never repeat this day.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
