There\u00a0are changes going on in me.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Since I was young and free,<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I went through life not knowing.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

All that time, I was growing.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It started way down in my toes.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

As it grows it twitches my nose.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It is worse when the moon is full.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then, my fingers start to grow.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I grow long nails, like claws.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

My feet look almost like paws.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

My nose turns into a snout.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

What the hell is this about?<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Hair was popping out all over.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Ears became pointed, like Rover\u2019s.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

My eyes look like a wolf\u2019s.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

My smell is better. That\u2019s all it took.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I took off running through the woods.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Howling, I would fly, if I could.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I wanted fresh, bloody meat to eat.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I caught a rabbit. What a treat.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I have a fear of other men.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Their smell is strong, like rotten gin.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I am fearless otherwise.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Nothing can hide from my cunning eyes.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I run, howl, rip and tear.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I can go most anywhere.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Morning comes and I am home.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

On my bed, I let out a grown. <\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

What a nightmare. I am a mess.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

What is this blood? I can\u2019t guess.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Could this nightmare have been real?<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Was I a werewolf? That\u2019s how I feel.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

No, that\u2019s impossible,—– right?<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

There are no werewolves in the night.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I push it all out of my mind.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Save it for another time.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
