\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Magician\u2019s War (Chapter 2)<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

For 800 years, we developed our land.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It was peace and prosperity for every man.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Yet, we never slacked in magical training.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Our abilities grew, our powers gaining.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Only a few \u2018very elite\u2019 knew the truth.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

How we came here on a ruse.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They were The Power of 12, our leaders.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They had been waiting for The Great Deceiver.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Once in 800 years, or so, one is born.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They have a power that none would scorn.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The last one fought in The Magician\u2019s War.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She was wounded, could fight no more.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She was the creator of our escape plan.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She planned it, with others. \u201cI\u2019ll do what I can.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She did, then died of her wounds before done.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Others were able to finish what was left undone.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Now called The 7 Levels Of Hell, known of by few.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Time rolled along, like a wheel.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then, another Great Deceiver was born.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Tested at birth, they knew none would scorn.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She was trained from the cradle up.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Every physical form of defensive stuff.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Plus, she had the maximum magical training.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She was incredible, the only one remaining.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Tops in all endeavors, they could hardly believe her.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

At 18, she got the wand of the previous Deceiver.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

As a Great Deceiver, she was the only person<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

who could do magic without a wand first.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

But, it was pure power with little direction.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

A wand gave intensity, purpose, and direction.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

About this time the High Seer received a vision.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

First ever from the \u2018home world\u2019 was given.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He saw how evil magicians of The Black Arts<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Were still practicing their evil art. <\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Having enslaved the rest of the population.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Controlled by the evil incantations.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Things were horrible, beyond words.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The people\u2019s united cry for help was heard.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Something had to be done, but what??<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The Power Of 12 plus The Great Deceiver<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

came up with a plan. Who would believe her?<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She presented her plan to the other 12.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She had to make it through the 7 hells.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It seemed impossible for her to do.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She said it would work. She wasn\u2019t a fool.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She had insight gained through her wand.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

From the previous Deceiver, now gone.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She would be accompanied by her\u00a0 two <\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

huge black panthers, pets from birth.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Also her eagle, that nested in her hearth.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She mentally communicated with them<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

and they with her. With them, she could win.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

If she made it through The 7 Levels Of Hell,<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

she could transfer all others, they knew well.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

But, she had to get there first.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

To work her magic and avoid the curse.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Transferring others to her at speed of light.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

While avoiding any kind of fight.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

But, that\u2019s a story yet to be told.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Can Anika succeed?<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Can she remain bold?<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
