The 4<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup> Level Of Hell was pitch black.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Anika gave all night vision sight for that.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The panthers instantly turned black again.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

What they saw looked pretty grim.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Barren land with many crags and boulders.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Like it was wrecked by a bull dozer<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The sun seldom shined on this planet.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

All was dark, even the granite.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The wand indicated the way to go.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It was time to start this little show.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They came to a narrow pass.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Looked like a cave, but rather crass.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

High cliffs on each side coming closer at the top.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

With a very narrow passage. Dead end, or not??<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They started on their way through. <\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then, overhead, something flew.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They saw indescribable critters everywhere.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Outlined in a violet glow that would scare.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

All looked deadly in multiple ways.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They were approaching on their prey.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Anika pulled out her sword and frowned.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The sound of the sword echoed all around.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She knew she could make a bright light.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

But, that would destroy their precious sight.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She hacked and chopped and cut her way.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The others fought like hell that day.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The panthers were raising holy hell.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Pern was attacking flying things as well.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They made it a long distance down the pass.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

To many critters. They were trapped, at last.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They knew the ending was coming soon.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then, something changed. They had room.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The critters were all going away.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Light was coming in. It was day.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They ran out the end of the pass.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The portal was close now, at last.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They saw the path of the sun.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Only up for a very short run.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then darkness would come again.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The next time, it would be the end.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They saw the portal open wide.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They ran through to the other side.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The 5<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup> Level Of Hell opened to a sea.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They were on shore, but they could see.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

What happened here I can\u2019t now repeat.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I will tell you next time we meet.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
