I remember the night clear as a bell.<\/p>\n

The night we first got cozy enough to,— well—-.<\/p>\n

The moment I removed my shirt for more.<\/p>\n

Your smile fell straight to the floor.<\/p>\n

Haven\u2019t you seen a man like me before?<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t mean to shock you to your core.<\/p>\n

My body is covered with ugly scars.<\/p>\n

More of them than there are stars.<\/p>\n

I was tortured. That was my fate.<\/p>\n

I was an undercover agent, mate.<\/p>\n

No, despite it all, I didn\u2019t talk.<\/p>\n

So, in the end, they let me walk.<\/p>\n

Thank God, they didn\u2019t touch my private parts.<\/p>\n

I was hospitalized for weeks & nearly died.<\/p>\n

They couldn\u2019t tell if I was dead or alive.<\/p>\n

Somehow I managed to pull through.<\/p>\n

It was enough for me. I ain\u2019t no fool.<\/p>\n

Other girls couldn\u2019t and left me to rot.<\/p>\n
