The Chief Herbal Wizard had a plan.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cIf it will work.—- I think it can.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He had a tonic that was new.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It was infused with magic too.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen the final ingredient is introduced,<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

you\u2019ll have about an hour before it\u2019s capote.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cAnyone who crosses over it,<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

then does magic, will lose their grip.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThey will instantly be turned to ash.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cNo more Warlocks to bug our ass.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cHow to put it to use? I don\u2019t have a plan.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cI think I do\u201d, said Anika, as she raised her hand.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cWe will get all Warlocks in a central place.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cIt will be surrounded by a small ditch in place.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThe ditch will be filled with the tonic.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll already be inside. How ironic.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Warlocks will try to destroy us with magic.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThey will think we\u2019re trapped. It will be tragic.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cBut, when they use magic they are turned to ash.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cTheir hatred will drive them to their last.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd where would this place be, pray tell?\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Church Of The True God in Salem\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThe city\u2019s biggest church Normals pray in.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThe head priest is a man named Sirle.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cI met him after the second war,\u201d Anika smiled.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cI am sure he will help us out.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cHe is a man of God, without a doubt.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They took Anika at her word.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

If she said it would, it would occur.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The plans were made and details worked out.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Anika went to see Sirle. He gave a shout.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cHi, Anika. It\u2019s good to see you again.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cTrouble is brewing, right to the brim.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why I\u2019m here. We need some help.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cI came to you because I know how you felt.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cYou said back then, that you<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

wished there was more that you could do.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Well, now there is, if you don\u2019t mind?\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll always help you Anika, any time.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She stared into his beautiful blue eyes.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They looked almost like they could hypnotize.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She said \u201cThank you,\u201d as she blushed.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She told him her plan. \u201cIt depends on us.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He set some altar boys to work digging the ditch.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They were young and energetic. They were quick.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Anika said goodbye, after lingering for awhile.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

She left Sirle with a lingering smile.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Back at \u2018home\u2019 Jeru, the Chief Herbal Wizard,<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

was hard at work making the tonic, she heard.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He said he would physically bring it there.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t want magic used anywhere.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He was cautious. He didn\u2019t want it to fail.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He would leave no magical trail.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

All the preparations took some time.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We will look in again to see what we find.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
