Kronos and Ikurea were watching her crystal ball.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

By looking in it, they could see all.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There were skirmishes here and there.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

His Warlocks were fighting everywhere.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Things seemed to be going his way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAnika and the Wizards would rule the day<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

they thought they could beat Kronos!\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThey will soon learn I am no ghost.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, he saw that the Wizards seemed to be<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

moving toward a central point, to me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He said \u201cWhat is that place they go?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ikurea said \u201cThe Church Of The True God, you know.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAhh, that figures. That is holy ground to them.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThey must think their God will save them.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI will tell all Warlocks thru their wands,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

to attack the place. Soon, they will be gone.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe will make a mockery of their God.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI am the one carrying the iron rod!!\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cKill all in their sanctuary, except Anika\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cBring her to me!!. I will meet ya.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cShe will bow to me before I do her in.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThere is no way in hell that she can win.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Jeru was bringing buckets of the tonic by wagon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was being safe, yet smart, like a dragon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was nearing the church, <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

when a Warlock hit him with a frozen curse.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Wizards saw him fall off the wagon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Warlock zapped away.\u00a0 He wasn\u2019t lagging.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anika rushed to his side.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was gone. No way to save his hide.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In his frozen state, he looked like he was saying a word.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She began to wonder if it could be heard.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She unfroze his lungs and vocal cords.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Her ear was close to his mouth,\u00a0 air roared.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It sounded to her like \u201csalt!!\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

What did he mean by that? She halted.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cGet all these buckets to the church.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

All on the wagon was brought in the church.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anika said \u201dStart pouring the tonic into the ditch.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat about this bag of salt that came with it?”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, it hit her like a thunderbolt from\u00a0 head to\u00a0 feet.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cHALT!!\u201d she yelled. \u201cAdd a pinch of salt to each.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAre you sure of this?\u201d asked a couple of Wizards.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cYes!!\u201d \u201cSalt is the final ingredient,—- I\u2019m sure.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They added the salt, like it was a cure.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The tonic began to bubble. It became the color of dirt.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They all grabbed a bucket and went to work.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Once the ditch was completely filled,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

it was hard to see the tonic. It had chilled.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They all rushed back inside.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just before the first Warlocks arrived.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Would the tonic work? Or, was Anika wrong?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

When\u00a0I return,\u00a0I will reveal that song.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
