\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Wedding Day For The Dragon Riders<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Finally, the time had come.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Gale and Wendy would soon become as one.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He had proposed and she accepted.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Even their dragons were receptive.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They decided to marry the dragon way.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The dragons said it could be done today.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

But, they had to travel to dragon land.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The place where dragons had command.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Above the clouds and beyond the rainbow.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

A magical place where dragons go.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It may be on earth, then again, it may not be.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

When they travel there, they will see.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They mounted their dragons and away they went.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

No one but them knew of the event.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

High and far the dragons flew.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Through the clouds and morning dew.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then, they entered what looked like a funnel.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Swirling lights and colors all around the tunnel.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They were mesmerized by the sight.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They had never seen so many lights.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Colors beyond description,<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

sinking into their souls, like an inscription.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They felt love. They felt warmth.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They felt infinity was nothing to scorn.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They burst forth upon a beautiful land.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Flowing in colors, rivers, and sand.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Floating isles of wooded land.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Lovely jungles with perfumes grand.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Butterflies up to a foot across.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Beautiful birds, grass with a velvet gloss.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Magical creatures, even satyrs and \u00a0unicorns.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Fairies, pixies, elves, lovely creatures with horns.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

All creatures of folklore lived here too.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

But, here, the dragons rule.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They flew to a castle of 12 precious stones.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

All polished and shining, standing alone.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Inside was the Imperial Dragon of High.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The ruler of all that could be seen by dragon eye.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He would perform the marriage ceremony.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He had approved the matrimony.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u2018This is rarely done here for humans.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cBut, you both have earned this conclusion.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u2018We were there the night you saved the dragons life.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cMentally, we followed all the strife.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cWe were all hoping this day would come.\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cSo, we say welcome everyone.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

In a traditional ceremony they were wed.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Traditional to dragons. Different for them instead.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They walked out with dragons on each side.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Blowing fire overhead to match their stride.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They spent a week in the dragons land.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They saw more than they could understand.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

But, they felt that they belonged.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Their dragons sang a special song.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The Imperial Dragon said it was time to leave.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cTrouble was brewing again.\u201d \u201c There is no reprieve.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cAs Dragon Riders, you must do what you can.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is our way to try to help man.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThe day is coming when dragons will be rejected.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cUntil then, you must do as expected\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The Dragon Riders returned home.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Remembering their wedding at the foot of the throne.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They were as one now, along with their dragons.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They would do their duty. They would not be lagging.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
