I was touched by a fever of unknown source.<\/p>\n

I was really hot and sweaty, of course.<\/p>\n

Yet, I wasn\u2019t sick. I felt better than ever.<\/p>\n

I have felt this way since I met Heather.<\/p>\n

Maybe she\u2019s a carrier or something like that.<\/p>\n

When I\u2019m near her I can\u2019t talk for crap.<\/p>\n

Oh lordy, this can\u2019t be happening to me.<\/p>\n

I feel like something is crawling on \u00a0me.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m just a hunk of burning love for sure.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m really worried there may not be a cure.<\/p>\n

I haven\u2019t a clue if she feels the same.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t even know if she remembers my name.<\/p>\n

The way I\u2019ve been acting,— like a clown.<\/p>\n

She doesn\u2019t smile, doesn\u2019t laugh, doesn\u2019t even look around.<\/p>\n

I just don\u2019t know what else to do.<\/p>\n

She needs to know a clown has feelings too.<\/p>\n

I have to come up with a better scheme.<\/p>\n

Or else I\u2019ll be forced to split the scene.<\/p>\n

A year has come & gone & I think I\u2019m cured.<\/p>\n

Heather is now mine, no matter how weird.<\/p>\n

Only problem is she\u2019s a PITA* most of the time.<\/p>\n

Why in the world did I want her to be mine?<\/p>\n

Now she is stuck on me like glue.<\/p>\n

I really don\u2019t know what I can do.<\/p>\n

To hurt her feelings just wouldn\u2019t be right.<\/p>\n

I toss and turn worrying all through the night.<\/p>\n

Fever isn\u2019t always a good thing, as you can see.<\/p>\n

Now I don\u2019t see any way I can be free.<\/p>\n

The answer is there. It\u2019s just out of sight.<\/p>\n

Though I may try with all of my might.<\/p>\n

Then the idea hit me. There is my brother.<\/p>\n

He is looking to hook up with another.<\/p>\n

I wouldn\u2019t wish her on anyone else.<\/p>\n

But, my brother is an exception. He will belch.<\/p>\n

He always does and it\u2019s so crude.<\/p>\n
