Drinking and thinking about a better life.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Maybe one that also included a wife.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I know it is all more delusional thinking.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

So, I forget about it and go back to drinking.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Drinking, , good old boys, and pickup trucks.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Living in the country and hunting ducks.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Drinking moonshine when it\u2019s around.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Partying on the levee. That summer sound.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

All adds up to my way of life.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Could all this include a wife?<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It seems doubtful at this time.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

After all, I\u2019m just in my prime.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Now I know how it all starts.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The depression and broken hearts.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

This way of life may not be best.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I just may not be up to the test.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Country music just makes it worse.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It just perpetrates this awful curse.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

There has to be a way besides liquor<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It surely can\u2019t be becoming a city slicker.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Once there I\u2019ll be toting a heavy load.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019ll be singing \u201cTake me home country roads.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Yup, I can see. Country is the place for me.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Where\u2019s that country lass that wants to be free? <\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
