The specks of gold are pretty in the blue.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It takes me to a place I never knew.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Like floating in the clouds above.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

My hand in yours, like a glove.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Yet, is there a storm on the horizon?<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I pray to God that you\u2019re not lying.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Let it remain as it is right now.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Bright sunny days, I will allow.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The coming storm is not to be.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

As long as you remain with me.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

There is no reason for me to distrust.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Burned in the past. A victim of lust.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

But, things are different this time.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You are quite different, I find.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Maybe I am seeing what\u2019s not there.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

A mirage sign that\u2019s saying beware.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Just a vision of my imagination.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Emotional scaring causes hesitation.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We will take it a day at a time.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Trust will build within my mind.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

In time, the scars will heal over.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Then, we are rolling in the clover.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Love is like a teeter totter in ways.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You\u2019re up, then down over the days.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The past can affect what happens now.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I hope it will all change somehow.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I am willing to give it a try.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
