The beautiful city by the bay.<\/p>\n

A great place to visit, they say.<\/p>\n

So I hopped on a ferry & went to see.<\/p>\n

Just how lovely this city could be.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It was beautiful. Lots going on.<\/p>\n

Entertainment from dusk till dawn.<\/p>\n

Lots of lovely sights to see.<\/p>\n

I just wish you were with me.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Suddenly, in a blinding flash.<\/p>\n

I was witness to all the trash.<\/p>\n

Murder, robbery, rape, & lust.<\/p>\n

Lots of violence. No one to trust.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Then, a blinding light all around.<\/p>\n

Reaching from Coit Tower to Chinatown.<\/p>\n

I shaded my eyes. It was so bright.<\/p>\n

It was quite a scary sight.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I strained my ears trying to hear.<\/p>\n

Hear any sound that was clear.<\/p>\n

Only one word, spoken loud.<\/p>\n

It was heard by all the crowd.<\/p>\n

REPENT!!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I dropped to my knees & confessed all sins.<\/p>\n

I only knew, any who did wins.<\/p>\n

Many cussed and shook their fists.<\/p>\n

They weren\u2019t having any of this.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Soon, all returned to normal.<\/p>\n

People looked around, then became real formal.<\/p>\n

They acted as if nothing had happened.<\/p>\n

They continued on, just as it had been.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Yes, the city by the bay is a delight.<\/p>\n

Especially when seen in a different light.<\/p>\n

It changed me for the rest of my life.<\/p>\n

For many others it only added to their strife.<\/p>\n
