Every battle fit wizard zapped to The Keep.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They hoped it was enough to get a defeat.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If it was Kronos, his Black Arts were powerful.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He had strong magic and a determined will.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

For two months they searched everywhere.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

No sign of Kronos or magic anywhere.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They were mystified as to what to do.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Half returned to Vantera, the rest were true.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

True in their determination to wait out Kronos.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The others would return once he shows.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos and ‘The Shadow’ procrastinated.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

All possibilities checked and eliminated.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos waited on purpose.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He knew he could perturb, thus.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0Kronos said “The Black Magic felt a hair weaker.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ talked about the black matter feature.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos said “I thought\u00a0 you got around that?”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>No, I built a way to tap into black matter in space.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos decided he needed this in this place.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They zapped to the future and retrieved The Cowl.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They would figure how to bring it back somehow.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This Cowl , ‘The Shadow’ used to tap dark matter.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They brought it back to Kronos time, like attar.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Once back they tapped into dark matter in space.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ located the most concentrated place.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He<\/i><\/b> zeroed in on the heart of it.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sucked out the magic they could get.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Such tremendous power, even Kronos hadn’t felt.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He sucked it all in up under his belt.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ did the same.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They were now ready to continue their game.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They had all the Black Magic they could hold.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The end of the story would soon be told.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos ignited a couple things by accident.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Too much power. It wasn’t what he meant.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

With practice, they both got it under control.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ thought it was good to know.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos knew what he would now do.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Back when he hit Anethea with the goo.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He injured her through her lance.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Reversed the power. She had no chance.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anika had a lance too. The same lance??<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If she did, she would be dead meat.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If she tried to use it when they meet.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos had other plans in the works.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He went over them, working out the quirks.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ helped all he could.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos liked his ideas, like he should.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The midnight hour was drawing near.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos knew he had nothing to fear.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Wizards couldn’t match his power now.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to the magic of The Cowl.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Things were beginning to look pretty dim.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
