Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter Eight)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos was thinking to himself.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>Use the lance, don’t be a whelp.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He knew he could win if she did.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If she didn’t,—- he’d flip his lid.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anika dug deep within herself.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pulled the last of her power off the shelf.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She tried a freezing spell on Kronos.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

His shield blocked it, for the most.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He tried to lasso Anika with magic.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She rolled, he missed, it was tragic.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She was getting unsteady on her feet.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos was also getting weak.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

How much longer could they go on?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Any others would already be gone.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Flash and Stealth had closed the gap.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They were at Kronos’s back.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He had just started to cast a spell.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They attacked, and did it well.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They took Kronos down instantly.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

So fast people could hardly see.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They were ripping him apart.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos was screaming like a lark.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

His wand had flew away when he was hit.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ saw and went after it.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He zapped over and grabbed the wand.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, instantly, he was gone.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos had never felt such pain.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Worse than hell and demon’s flame.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He thrashed and screamed and then was still.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The panthers were successful in their kill.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Anika collapsed. She was beaten.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She had no more. She couldn’t defeat him.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Next she knew, Sirle was picking her up.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Hugging her like a little pup.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>You did it! Kronos is dead!”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u02dcWhat was that you said?”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>The panthers ripped him apart.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>But, I saw the\u00a0 ‘other’\u00a0 fry them with a dart?”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>The eagles warned them. They dodged in time.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>Those animals were all working overtime.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ had zapped back to their Ireland Keep.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He had little time. He was fast on his feet.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He gathered up every single thing.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Put it all in a magical sling.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Grabbed it and zapped to 2017 to his lab.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was back home at last and he was glad.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The eagles led the others to The Keep.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Too late. Nothing left. They destroyed The Keep.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

On the grass where Kronos body lay,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A Pillar of Black Smoke and Fire rose up that day.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Two demons drug Kronos body into the Pillar.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It descended into the ground, leaving no filler.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In hell, Kronos was alive again.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The demons then spoke to him.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>You think you outsmarted us when you escaped.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>We knew it was coming. It was your fate.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>We let you go just to see if you could win.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>But, you failed, as usual, so, never again.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>But now, for being so arrogant, you’ll suffer.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>It will be for eternity with no buffer.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>The worst pain you ever felt, was at your death.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>Being ripped apart by the panthers, I’ll bet.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>So, you will relive it over and over here in hell.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>You will die and come back, but, never be well.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>Over and over to pay for your sins.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>Which we can’t forgive, so it never ends.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>Are you prepared to meet your fate?”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>Too bad if you’re not, because it’s too late.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos was instantly being ripped apart.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was screaming out his heart.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

So horrible was his final fate,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

w<\/i><\/b>e won’t discuss it further. It’s just too late.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
