The Lumicates were native to their planet. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

800+ years since Wizards preplanned it.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Lumicates were given long life.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Also, the ability to magically fight.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They could see way into the future.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

That’s what made them great troopers.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Other magical abilities they had also.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Given long ago to keep everything just so.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They said a Warlock ‘like smoke’ was coming.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Along with ‘the will’ of another he was becoming.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anika instantly understood what they meant by that.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ was coming, with Kronos wand back.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

That is why they couldn’t find Kronos wand.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Obviously, ‘The Shadow’ and Kronos wand had bond.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The lumicates told Anika their plan.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She was shocked, but would go along, if she can.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Woods on one side, a sea on the other.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ said “Lets fly, before we run into another.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>We would be dead by now without Anika’s trail.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>That was the idea of this whole thing.’ Kronos wailed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>I will fly, as fast as I can to the next gate.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>it is way down the coast. Don’t get there late’\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ took to the air, like a black mist.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He could maintain his shadowy form for this.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A ways along, skeletons, shaking their fists.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He didn’t want to know the meaning of this.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A giant porcupine shot quills at him.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They passed right through, his shadow too thin.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Other monstrosities were moving around.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was afraid to set foot on the ground.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>There, on the beach, is where the gate is.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ flew down. He heard a hisss.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Giant ants were all around.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There was no place to land on the ground.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ opened the gate from the air.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Flew through fast, without a care.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It was instantly pitch black.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ almost hit with a smack.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He used magic to get some night vision.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

What he saw scared the hell out of him.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Violet and scarlet creatures were everywhere.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Some of them were even in the air.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>Through that cave or crack ahead.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>I’m not going in there. Are you out of your head!”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>I will fly over the crag. Pick up the trail there instead.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He took to the air. A couple flying things did too.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They tried to attack, but they went right through.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos picked up the trail on the other side.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The gate was close so they could hide.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ zipped through into freezing cold.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

God, this kind of crap made him feel old.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>An ice planet. This place could get pretty cold.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>No shit Sherlock!,”\u009d ‘The Shadow’ said.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A phrase unfamiliar to Kronos head.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>What does that mean?’ asked Kronos.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>Never mind. We have to move, or we’ll be ghosts.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ started flying again.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was starting to ice up, due to the wind.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He saw a couple abominable snowmen.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They were bigger than hell, and no friend.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They flew across a large chasm.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

That would end other bad men.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally, just in time, they found the gate.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They opened it and went through, before too late.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They were in a desert, as deserted as it could be.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They were now warm, but there was nothing to see.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

What happens now will shock them too.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Are you excited? I am with you.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
