\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Reign Of ‘The Shadow’ (Chapter Five)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ started flying over the desert dunes.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He hoped the next gate would be coming up soon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Suddenly, he slowed and went to the ground.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He couldn’t believe what he had found.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He had seen Anika and the two panthers walking along.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They went behind a dune and then they were gone.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ slowly crept up the side of the dune.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He knew he would spot Anika real soon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He saw her and quickly zipped into the air.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He came down, like a cloud, covering her everywhere.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He moved aside and she lie on the sand \u00a0all tied up.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ropes of magic covered her like a cocoon in flux.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kronos yelled, ‘Anika, you have captured her!!’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>I never ever thought this would happen for sure.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The great Anika, captured by ‘The Shadow.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>For you, Anika, that’s more than half the battle.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>Oh, what I have in store for you, you fool.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>You will wish this was a dream and not true.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anika could hear Kronos insane laugh in her head.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>I will make you wish you were dead.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>Yes, Kronos is dead and his spirit is in hell.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>He is now totally insane and will never tell.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>But, he inserted into his wand, while alive, his will.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>So, in a way, Kronos is with you still.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>We will bring you to your planet with us.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>This planet isn’t it. It is just dust.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>Once there, we will assume the rule.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>To save your life, the Wizards will obey. The fools.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ are my hands, so to speak.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>Together, we will rule the very elite.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

At that moment, Anika mentally called the panthers.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

As they approached, Kronos became scattered.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>No, no, no. Get them away! Kill them! Kill them!’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The wand was jumping all over the place.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ couldn’t get it up to his face.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Behind ‘The Shadow,’ the sand began to move.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Witch Doctor raised up out of the groove.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He had a oil lamp in his hands. He took off the lid.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Shadow’ was sucked inside the lamp. He slid<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

right in and the lid was slapped back on.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Special metal that magic would not work on.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The spout was plugged, so he was trapped.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The wand fell to the sand with a smack.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anika’s bonds instantly dissolved away.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Witch Doctor handed her the lamp that day.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He then pulled out a wand shaped box.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lid opened, he, magically, lifted the wand to the slot.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He closed the lid and magically sealed it on the spot.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This he gave to Anika also.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Zapping back to the village, they did go.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The panthers relaxed in the shade.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anika knelt with the Lumicates and prayed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She thanked them for their help.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, she zapped back to Vantera. Great, she felt.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She had lamp and wand box under her belt.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She told them all what had transpired.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>I’ll take both to earth to be permanently retired.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She was speaking of Kronos will and ‘The Shadow.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She was happy it wasn’t much of a battle.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She asked Sirle to accompany her.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They zapped to The Keep, where it would occur.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

What will happen on the earthly home front?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
