\u00a0 The Wizard’s Worst Nightmare (Chapter One)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The Wizards, for the most part, forgot the vision.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The one by the Head Seer about ‘our indecision.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Indecision about how to handle the invasion.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The one from outer space. It was too late then.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n For, one night, weird space ships appeared.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They started beaming up kids. How weird.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A blue light drew the kids up into the ship.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Wizards tried to work spells to stop this trip.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It was to no avail, except Wizard’s Fire.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The most skilled Wizards used the fire.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Sent to where the blue beam came from.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They were hoping to fry the scum.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n This caused one ship to rock and falter.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It was heading down, like an overturned alter.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It was thought to crash somewhere over a cliff.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Wizards zapped there and surrounded the ship.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Nothing moved. They couldn’t get inside.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n No matter how much the Wizard’s strived.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Then, it was found where the blue light came from,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n a way to get inside, which was burnt to a crumb.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Weird bodies, short, with big heads and eyes.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Burnt to a crisp. There were none left alive.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Wizard’s Fire was effective, but limited in use.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It would only work if it got inside & cooked their goose.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The other ships left the scene,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n with the missing kids, taken for whatever means.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The Wizards were in a hell of a stir.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Questions were flying, that’s for sure.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n One of Anika’s sons sent the deadly Wizard’s Fire.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Siran said it was a lucky shot. He was no liar.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>Who are these critters? We haven’t a clue”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>Do they use magic?”\u009d “Don’t be a fool”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>This ship seems to be some type of machine”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>I think all this is beyond our means”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>It is like something that has come from the future”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b> I doubt that is from where they come. Do you sir?”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>Who can say? And, what do we do? We need a plan”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A meeting was called to figure out what they can.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Several ideas were passed around.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>We need to get one on the ground”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>With the critters still alive so we can question them”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>Our universal translator amulet should comprehend”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>Now, that is worth a try, but how”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>We have to be able to bring a ship down, somehow”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>Could one of us be beamed aboard”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>Then we could maybe address the hoard”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>They have only taken kids so far”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>I am sure that is so they can learn who we are”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n As the Wizards tried to come up with a plan.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The ‘Others’ returned to their mother ship to plan.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n What happens next, we will have to wait and see.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n For I haven’t a single clue right now, you see.-<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ——————————————————–R.W.
