\u00a0 The Wizard’s Worst Nightmare (Chapter Two)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘<\/i><\/b>The Others’ quizzed the kids by telepathy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The kids didn’t understand. ‘Set us free.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They all kept up that same thought.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They used computers for what they sought.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘<\/i><\/b>The Others’ tried to understand.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Computers obeyed their commands.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The computers translated what kids thought.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘<\/i><\/b>The Others’ found out what they sought.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘<\/i><\/b>The Others’ began to mentally talk to them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Communication started. It was more than a whim.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘<\/i><\/b>The Others’ tried to find out all they could.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The kids were smart.\u00a0 Only thought what they should.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The process was going slow.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘<\/i><\/b>The Others’ wanted all that the kids know.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The kids wanted to find out all they could.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Reading ‘The Others’ minds would be good.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The computer would help them some.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n But, the translator amulet was a better one.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Unfortunately, they did not have any.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Right now, they could use many.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They were too young to zap home on their own.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They hadn’t yet been given a wand of their own.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n But, they knew a lot of things already.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Like a mental block, while they got ready.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Concerning magic, ‘The Others’ had no clue.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The kids knew ‘Don’t let them find out about you.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Things were at a status quo for both.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n So, ‘The Others’ said “It’s time for a vote”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They decided this planet could be conquered.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Though it was small, they could spread the word.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Other planets are in this galaxy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Many will fit into our policy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Meantime, the Wizards decided one thing.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A wizard must get on board a machine.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n He\/she could then zap back and report.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Then, we can give them a proper retort.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Siran and Ansir volunteered to go.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They would hide their wands for show.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They would look helpless and beg for mercy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n That way, they could get beamed up, surely.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Now, they just needed to wait.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0‘The Others’ would return before it got late.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n As soon as all this starts to happen,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n we will return to get in on the action.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ————————————————–R.W.
