The Wizard’s Worst Nightmare (Chapter Three)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They didn’t have to wait long for action.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘The Others’ came with a new attraction.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The flying machines beamed down things.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Weird metal monsters with metal rings.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n 3 legged things that walked with a jerk.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n No clue as to what made them work.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They beamed a ray that turned you to ash.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A wizard shield protected, but would it last?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Nothing conjured up had any effect.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n “<\/i><\/b>Can’t we stop them? What the heck!!”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Then, Wizards tried a magical rope.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Tripped a machine. It fell without hope.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Robot legs thrashed about in the air.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It wasn’t going anywhere.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Siran and Ansir were nearby the thing.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Suddenly, it was hit by a blue beam.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They grabbed it and held on tight.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n All were beamed up out of sight.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They were aboard in some kind of hold.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n That’s when things started to unfold.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Their translator amulets worked.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They picked up mental quirks.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘<\/i><\/b>The Others’ talked with mental telepathy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Siran and Ansir could hear, you see.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The amulets helped them understand.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n One of them was giving commands.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Ansir and Siran stayed out of sight.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘<\/i><\/b>The Others’ were talking about the fight.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n One of them mentioned the kids on board.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘<\/i><\/b>Leave them to their own accord.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘<\/i><\/b>They are not a threat to us at all.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘<\/i><\/b>They are lucky they can do more than crawl.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘<\/i><\/b>I doubt if the adults are much smarter.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘<\/i><\/b>Smash the dirty little heathens for a starter.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Ansir and Siran dropped ‘The Others’ where they stood.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A simple knock out spell worked like it should.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They quickly located the kids. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They tied each to them via a magic grid.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Then, they zapped back down to earth.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n All were o.k., for what it was worth.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ‘<\/i><\/b>The Others’, who were knocked out in the hold<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n h<\/i><\/b>ad amnesia, and blamed it on getting old.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The kids told everyone all they had learned.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It helped some, but Siran and Ansir could return.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They decided against it just then.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They knew the kids were missed within<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n the flying machine. Best stay clear for now. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They could make plans on what is allowed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Things are just getting started in this battle.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Tune in again and hear sabers rattle.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ——————————————————-R.W.
