I saw her standing all alone.<\/p>\n

Rain running down her hair.<\/p>\n

It was enough to make me grown.<\/p>\n

A single ray of sunlight lit up her skin so fair.<\/p>\n

Revealing a beauty I\u2019ve never known.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My mind retreated into a different place.<\/p>\n

One filled with fantasies of her.<\/p>\n

Every fantasy aglow with her lovely face.<\/p>\n

Something deep inside told me it would never occur.<\/p>\n

Still, I had to try, even if it meant failure & disgrace.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As I drew nearer, she came up to me.<\/p>\n

She asked for directions to a certain caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Shocked, I told her the easiest way it could be.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust follow me. I will show you the way.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said \u201cOh, you don\u2019t have to do that for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Before long, we arrived at the caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n

I asked her if she would like a warm drink.<\/p>\n

She said \u201cI would but, I am waiting for someone. Is that ok?\u201d<\/p>\n

I said fine & bought her a coffee as black as ink.<\/p>\n

I offered her some cream.—- What to say?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cWho are you waiting for. A relative?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy so called boyfriend, if he shows.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou mean to say he wouldn\u2019t relish it?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNot anymore. You know how it goes.\u201d<\/p>\n

I told her I\u2019m sorry. I almost yelled it.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We drank coffee & talked for an hour.<\/p>\n

No sign of the boyfriend, nor a call.<\/p>\n

I said \u201cLet\u2019s go to a movie\u201d as I gave her a flower.<\/p>\n

She was surprised but, agreed to it all.<\/p>\n

This started a relationship that did not sour.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To make this story short, things worked out well.<\/p>\n

We ended up becoming one for life.<\/p>\n

I think things turned out really swell.<\/p>\n

My fantasies are now real & are they bright!!<\/p>\n

I found my fantasy in the rain. She really rang my bell.<\/p>\n
