The Wizard’s Worst Nightmare (Chapter Six)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Others’ felt they had no option.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They lost when they had fought them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They came real close to winning.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It had been so from the beginning.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Wizards didn’t let them know this.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They wanted to help, was their wish.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Others’ said ‘What do we do now?’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>One will go home with you somehow.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>Once there, she will check it out.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>Determine if we can bring this about.’<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anika agreed to be the one to go.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She had abilities needed for the show.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Arrangements were made for this.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She gave Sirle a really big kiss.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>Do not worry. All will be fine”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She was ready to leave on time.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘The Others’ said it would take a week +.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Using a worm hole and top thrust,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Others’ should be home in a rush.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anika wasn’t sure what all that meant.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She would leave a magical scent.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A trail that the other Wizards could follow.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Once there, they would have it to follow.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The alien ships shot out of sight.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The speed they traveled was a fright.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

During the trip, Anika learned what she could.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

About ‘The Others’, their planet, what she should.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A week + later they circled a planet.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Big, and beautiful. Looking like granite.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The sun was extremely bright.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They said this was an increase in light.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anika felt overwhelming magical power there.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It seemed to be coming from everywhere.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Positive and negative energy waves.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Strong enough to make things seem a haze.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Warlocks used the negative energy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Wizards used the positive energy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anika would need all the help she could get.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She told ‘The Others’ she was set.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She needed all Wizards to zap there.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Her wand sent the message with power to spare.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Within minutes, wizards started zapping in.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Others’ were totally chagrinned.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Wizards had to form a mental matrix.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Handling positive and negative energy basics.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They had to equalize, neutralize, and stabilize.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They had to do it on the first try.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They had never tried anything to this extent before.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In theory, it should work, but when they opened that door?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They were ready and innerlocked their minds.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Wizards were using all the energy they could find.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They were all sweating and shaking with the mental effort.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Of all their training, this was a new excerpt.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Nothing happened at first that ‘The Others’ could tell.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, the size of their sun slowly fell.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It became smaller and dimmer.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Soon, they knew they had a winner.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The sun was back the way it used to be.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Wizards all fell down. Totally exhausted, you see.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘<\/i><\/b>The Others’ were overjoyed and helped them all up.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A huge feast was held. They drank from the cup.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They agreed to forever live in peace.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They would often get together for more feasts.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They would help each other anyway they can.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

That was good news for the future of man.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In a few days, all the Wizards zapped home.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

That was the farthest they would ever roam.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, they had made new friends.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A friendship that would last till the end.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Their handling of negative energy had taken its toll.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Not something they would make a daily goal.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Wizard’s worst nightmare was over.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They were back playing and rolling in clover.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
