Surrounded by wildfires for the past week.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Breathing hazardous air that really reeks. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Praying the fires don’t come this way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It gets more stressful every day.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Hoping we don’t have to evacuate.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s almost more than I can take.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Everyone here feels the same.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

All they are doing seems in vain.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally, a report of rain on the way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s a week away, is all they would say.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Thousands of fire fighters from all over.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just to keep us from pushing up clover.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

35 dead with the number growing.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Many are gone with no one knowing.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Billions of dollars gone up in smoke.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It is definitely enough to make you choke.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Stress can be a killer factor.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Wondering if we will be told to scatter.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

May you never have to go through this.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It is something you’d be glad to miss.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Maybe not as bad as being in hell.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, not far off, from what I can tell.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
