The young explorers were in a cave.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They all agreed, they would be brave.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They accidently discovered the entrance.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Opened by tree roots was the incident.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Roots caused a huge stone to roll away.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They spotted it behind the brush that day.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The cave was extremely ancient for sure.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

After a while, something odd did occur.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A section of cave seemed to light up.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Not caused by fungus, or other stuff.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Why it was lit up couldn’t be determined.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

That was only a small part that concerned them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There was a small city in the cavern.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ancient beyond what they could fathom.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They found ancient symbols around.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They copied all of them they found.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Much later, they would decipher them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Not even sure they were written by men.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Acheron was the name of the city.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

How they vanished was a real pity.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This age was ruled by powerful magic.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The positive and negative results were tragic.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Magic from the dark side and from the light.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They used both for all it’s might.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The end result was total annihilation.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Finding this out caused mild elation.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Many scrolls and books were found.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Years of work translating, they were bound<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

to \u00a0expose Acheron’s tragic history.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They understood all the mysteries.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This age existed prior to the Bible Genesis.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Acheron, an age not meant to exist.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

So much more the 3 wanted to know.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

All was destroyed except this show.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Built underground, it withstood time.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Though any life, they didn’t find.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They kept their discovery to themselves.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They found the books with the magic spells.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They debated trying some, or not.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The results they saw made them stop.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There had to be a way to use it for good.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If they could do this, they would.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The 3 spent years searching for an answer.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It became an obsession, like a cancer.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally, they thought they had a plan.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dark and light must be separated, if they can.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The two forces together destroyed the Acheron age.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Taken separately, they might come into play.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Did they dare to proceed with what they had found?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

That is a story for any who might still be around.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They said “We’ll never know unless we try.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, then again, they just might die.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
