I thought you were more than a friend.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We have to try to work this out.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

My feelings are hurt, without a doubt.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Why this happened no one knows.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Around and around and around it goes.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We were, are, and always will be friends.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If we go beyond that, it all depends.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you forgive me, let’s give it a try.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You couldn’t find a better man than I.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

After all, we have nothing to lose.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m not putting my neck in a noose.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am not out to hurt or rip you apart.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Let’s make all that clear from the start.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We can be friends and gradually grow closer.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I don’t want it to be like a roller coaster.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just go with the flow and see where it leads.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sometimes we can’t see the forest for the trees.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Time together is always a pleasure.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Being with you has become a treasure.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If it is to be,—– it will become.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

As for me, you’re the only one.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, it takes two to tangle.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

When you’re ready, we will mangle.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

For, two can become as one.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Give it time. It will be fun.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
