He was an average kid in every way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Nothing special about him to say.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He had average height and build.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was no one’s dream fulfilled.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Average looks that drew no attention.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Possibly cute in another dimension.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There was one thing he was good at.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Meditation. He was the best. It’s a fact.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He would go deep into a trance.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You might think him asleep at a glance.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He would release his inner self.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Become aware of things beyond itself.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was suddenly in an all white room.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He heard a voice, like the sound of doom.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>You have been chosen to be here”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>Let me make that very clear”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>All here is controlled by your mind”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>We will guide you in all you find.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>You can have a one way ticket to yesterday.”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>They become real, the video games you play”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>You can become big or you can be small”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>A hero, a fighter, a lover, you are them all”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>It is real. It is not a dream”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>Though, right now, that is how it may seem”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>Thru all this, you will learn who you are”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>If you are who we think you are,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

you will be sent somewhere very far”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>We will have a job only you can do”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>That’s decided later. Now, it’s up to you”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>What do you want me to do now”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>Think of anything you want. You know how”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>You will be there and it will be real”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>Try to determine just how you feel”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>If you want a change, think of something else”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>All we want to determine is how you felt”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He thought about when he was young.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Playing outdoor games were fun.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was there. He played them all.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, he thought about the colors of fall.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was there, jumping into a pile of leaves.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was admiring the color of all the trees.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, he thought of being a hero, a knight.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just like that, he was in a fight.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was in jousts, sword play and battles.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It was real. Not like a bunch of cattle.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He fought for his life and won.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He had never used a gun.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, there he was, in western days.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was the best with a gun in every way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Everything he desired to be<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

was suddenly real, he could see.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a Don Juan with the girls.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The most popular guy. What thrills.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, he began to realize that’s all it was.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just thrills. Real, but not who he was.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He began to feel this wasn’t really him.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was who he used to be back then.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Suddenly, he was back in the white room.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A voice said “You are back so soon?”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>You, obviously, are the person you were”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>You will be going back home for sure”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>You have learned who you really are”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>Unfortunately, you will not be sent afar”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>You will never return again here”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>We, The Watchers, know what you fear”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>We know now who you are”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“<\/i><\/b>We’ll send you home to follow your own star”\u009d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was back home, still in his lotus position.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Did it happen?, or was it all in his head?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He slowly got up and went to bed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

From that day on, he was a different person.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

More assertive and assured. No negative version.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He seemed totally satisfied with himself.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He gained friends, fame, and wealth.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was still a average guy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, he had his pie in the sky.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
