Fable, Or Not?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I took a trip to Sweden.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I heard it was like Eden.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I heard of trolls and gnomes.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Both were small when fully grown.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There were giants and other things.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Always mentioned, but never seen.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Shapeshifters were Mentioned too.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Locals always said it was true.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I decided to search for one.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I thought, maybe, it would be fun.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Locals warned me away from this.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I would earn a deadly kiss.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They didn\u2019t want to be found.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They didn\u2019t want people around.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They knew magic and I did not.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If I survived, it would be a shock.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I thought it was all \u00a0a fable.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This I intended to prove, if able.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I went to where one was seen.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Nothing there, except meadows green.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I set up a camera to get a picture.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A trail cam. There was no hitch here.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A week later,—-I had pictures.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

All were animals. No hitch here.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Except for one I can\u2019t explain.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Looked like an old dwarf. Am I insane?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There was no dwarf in the area.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They said stop looking. It will spare ya.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I kept searching for several weeks.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I searched valleys. Even along creeks.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Nothing ever turned up again.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

True or not, it would depend<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

on if you believed in them or not.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The locals believed. The entire lot.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

As for me, I\u2019m not so sure.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A dwarf dressed in fur?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

That seemed reasonable to me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But then, all is not what it seemed to be.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
