Yesterday a funny thing happened.
\nI was walking along a street in town.
\nI guy yelled \u201cI\u2019d feel like crap then.\u201d
\nI looked his way with a frown.
\nHe was talking to his girlfriend.
\nSeems he didn\u2019t like what she said.
\n\u201cToo bad!!\u201d Her voice sounded shrill then.
\nI am assuming that they were not wed.
\nHe immediately began to apologize.
\nFor what?, I couldn\u2019t tell for sure.
\nThey quieted, keeping it localized.
\nIsn\u2019t that how they say it goes with her.
\nYou\u2019re the bad guy right from the go.
\nWhatever it was about, he took the blame.
\nMaybe he deserved it, I just don\u2019t know.
\nBut, mostly, it is a crying shame.
\nThe guy MUST give in, or it\u2019s over.
\nThere is no yes, no , or maybe.
\nIt is cut and dried as day old clover.
\nHe has cowed down. He\u2019s yours now baby.
\nFeelings must be taken into consideration.
\nCircumstances must also play a part.
\nBut, somewhere, there must be the realization
\nthat she can occasionally be wrong from the start.
\nThe old adage; women are never wrong.
\nIs often over-stated and not true.
\nMen foul up. It usually doesn\u2019t take long.
\nBut, women do too, but won\u2019t admit it to you.
\nIn a perfect world, all would take their blame.
\nHopefully, the results would be more rewarding.
\nAt least, the results wouldn\u2019t be the same.
\nBut, that\u2019s in a perfect world.<\/p>\n
