A small group of scientists were hid out.
\nThey had a plan they were talking about.
\nThey had a means to speed up entropy.
\nThe deterioration of all to nothing remotely
\nsimilar to what it was. Turned to waste.
\nThey needed to get it to the Faa home base.
\nThey needed to know how long it took.
\nThe trip from earth to the Faa home nook.
\nThey would sneak the device aboard their ship.
\nA timer would trigger it at the end of the trip.
\nOne casually talked to a bored Faa guard.
\nHe got the information. It wasn\u2019t hard.
\nThey would plant it among the mined ore.
\nIt was undetectable, according to lore.
\nThe ship blasted off for the home Faa planet.
\nIt landed on the smog shrouded hunk of granite.
\nThe whole planet was an industrial complex.
\nSo polluted, home sweet home, lost its context.
\nThe load of ore was needed badly here.
\nThey also needed more. That was clear.
\nJust as the unloading had begun,
\na timer clicked.—— It had begun.
\nSlowly at first, so it wasn\u2019t noticed.
\nThen, rapid decay became the focus.
\nIn a matter of hours the entire planet was consumed.
\nThe Faa didn\u2019t know what hit them. They were doomed.
\nSoon, on earth, no new Faa ships arrived.
\nThe Faa here panicked. How will they stay alive.
\nThey needed new supplies of the air they breathed.
\nEarth\u2019s air was deadly. Had they been deceived?
\nThey tried to breathe it. They had no choice.
\nAn agonizing death ended their voice.
\nHumans were free. They knew their plan worked.
\nThey had a number of Faa ships. What a quirk.
\nThey became space explorers, but didn\u2019t forget
\nhow they got here using a trick.
\nThey would not be like the Faa a bit.
\nThey soon formed a Federation of Planets.
\nThey eliminated all invaders and bandits.
\nHumans were a lot better off in the end.
\nNow, they had a lot of inner planetary friends.<\/p>\n
