When Asglow went to the ruined castle.
\nHe had trouble searching without a hassle.
\nHe conceived a plan to rebuild the place.
\nHe couldn\u2019t stand all that waste.
\nBesides, he wanted to find all he could.
\nHe would use all the old castle he could.
\nExcept move it all to a new place.
\nOn top of a solid granite plateau, in case.
\nThere was one about a mile away.
\nSeveral hundred feet high, if a day.
\nProbably 20 acres or more around.
\nNo way up or down that he found.
\nHe spent two days magically working.
\nCutting a narrow path. A sure thing.
\nOnce on top, he made the top level.
\nIt was flat, like made with a bevel.
\nThe narrow path was hard to maneuver.
\nEasily defended with magic or groover.
\nA magical tool that reshapes rock.
\nNo one would ever reach the top.
\nOnce on top he zapped away.
\nHe moved stones the easy way.
\nZapped them to the top of the plateau.
\nHe recruited others to carry on the show.
\nHe said it would be a memorial.
\nTo always remember Kronos\u2019s gory role.
\nThe Council Of 9 found agreement with this.
\nThe castle was built without a hitch.
\nExcept he built it about 5 times larger.
\nExpert builders followed him without barder.
\nWith the granite riddled with tunnels and rooms,
\nreaching way down below bedrock in the gloom.
\nHe had tons of rooms and secret places.
\nHe brought in all books, ledgers, and magic vases.
\nEverything he found in the ruined castle.
\nPlus things from everywhere. It was a vassal.
\nIt was finished within two years.
\nAll who visited left with their fears.
\nThey thought it made a fine memorial.
\nTo remember evil, without glory though.
\nAsglow was hoping to find one thing.
\nIt was something that Kronos could bring.
\nThe reversal of Anika\u2019s spear power.
\nThat would be needed in that hour.
\nHe didn\u2019t find it anywhere he looked.
\nIt was not in any book.
\nHe finally decided there was only one way.
\nGo to hell and see what Kronos would say.
\nHe knew the black spell that would take him there.
\nIt was dangerous. He could try it, if he did dare.
\nFinally, he cast the spell.
\nHe was pulled down by a black smoke into hell.
\nHe found Kronos, but he was totally insane.
\nJust kept screaming about panthers and pain.
\nHe knew he would never learn anything here.
\nThen, a demon, from nowhere, did appear.
\nHe said: \u201cWe know why you risked coming here.\u201d
\n\u201cWe know what you are planning, that is clear.\u201d
\n\u201cWe helped Kronos, but we will never again.\u201d
\n\u201cThere is a chance that you can win.\u201d
\n\u201cBut, your future is not very clear.\u201d
\n\u201cIt is like looking into a bunch of mirrors.\u201d
\n\u201cGo back and try your very best.\u201d
\n\u201cBeyond that, may you pass the test.\u201d
\nWith that, he was back where he left from.
\nWhat happens next is another story.
