There Is No Cure For Stupidity<\/p>\n
I read every book that he could find.
\nI was literally running out of time.
\nThe Doctors said there was no cure.
\nThe thought gave me a lot of fear.
\nJust a six word statement was all.
\nIt meant I was in for a very big fall.
\n\u201cThere is no cure for stupidity.\u201d
\nThat\u2019s what the doctor said to me.
\nThere has to be something I can do.
\nI don\u2019t want people thinking I\u2019m a fool.
\nI can read, but not real well.
\nI just hope no one can tell.
\nA computer is way over my head.
\nI feel like I should stay in bed.
\nThen, I found a way to show I am smart.
\nI helped kids at the grade school with art.
\nSoon, the cops hauled me away.
\nSaid I was a pervert. What did I say?
\n\u201cThere is no cure for stupidity.”
\nThat\u2019s what the cops said to me
\nWhat in the hell am I supposed to do?
\nI have never been mean to you.
\nThey said I needed a special school.
\nThey would have a lot for me to do.
\nWho knows, maybe I would get smarter.
\nMind your manners. Don\u2019t be a farter.
\nSo,—– off to school I went.
\nI was mad and wanted to vent.
\nThe school said no to me.
