That evening we went to his room.
\nHe had a computer as big as the moon.
\n\u201cMy dad would use it to \u2018fine tune\u2019 me.\u201d
\n\u201cI am always right up to date, you see.\u201d
\n\u201cFirst, we have to find out who \u2018them\u2019 are?\u201d
\n\u201cGovernment, foreigners, bad people by far.\u201d
\n\u201cEven different aliens could be involved.\u201d
\n\u201cMy dad kept me in the dark, he vowed.\u201d
\n\u201cNow, we have to find out on our own.\u201d
\n\u201cWhere to start is what must be known\u201d
\n\u201cHow about the aliens who were first involved?\u201d
\n\u201cExcellent idea. They could tell what\u2019s allowed.\u201d
\n\u201cDo you know how to contact them??\u201d
\n\u201cNo, I don\u2019t. But, a message I will send.\u201d
\n\u201cI can send a coded message I think they will get.\u201d
\n\u201cPlead for help. Refusing, they may regret.\u201d
\nHe worked like a wiz on the computer.
\nA scrambled message that was just a blur.
\nShortly, a coded message came back.
\nIt said to wait for them out by the railroad track.
\nWe should go there within the hour.
\nWe rode our bikes. No time for a shower.
\nOnce there, a UFO appeared overhead.
\nA beam of light lifted us up, like dad said.
\nTelepathically aliens talked to us.
\nConcerning someone new, they didn\u2019t discuss.
\nThey said \u2018them\u2019 were evil humans.
\nThey were informed by other alien crewmen.
\nA different race than they were.
\nOnly the worst would be expected to occur.
\nMy dad was warned and was hiding out.
\nHe didn\u2019t want us to know what it was about.
\nBut, the time has arisen for me to act.
\nMy robotic powers will become a fact.
\nBut, not until the time was right.
\nIn the meantime expect a fight.
\nFirst, they will tell me how to find my dad.
\nBring my friend. Just know it will be bad.
\nWe were told where to go and what to do.
\nDad will know right away that it is you.
\nHe will explain to you much more.
\nWe are trying to stop this from becoming a war.
\nWe were beamed back down to our bikes.
\nTom said \u201cYikes!!\u201d
\n\u201cI have no doubts now in any of your story.\u201d
\n\u201cThanks.\u201d I said, \u201cBut, I am not looking for glory.\u201d
\nWe went home to get some sleep.
\nTomorrow is when we will locate dad\u2019s keep.
