More Than A Friend (Part 6)<\/p>\n
After the weekend, they returned to school.
\nThey had one more thing to do.
\nProm was coming up in a week.
\nThey needed to call the girls they seek.
\nAsk them if they would go to the prom.
\nIf yes, then they would give it the ole come on.
\nCoz asked Raywin Collier and she said yes.
\nTom asked Truly Garland. She was the best.
\nBoth dates accepted so they got primed.
\nThey planned to have a real good time.
\nIt was early when they all arrived.
\nThey started dancing. None were shy.
\nThen, in walked in the king of the prom.
\nCoz immediately reacted and told Tom.
\n\u201cHe has a smell that stinks like a snake.\u201d
\n\u201cHe has to be a reptile. Make no mistake.\u201d
\nTom said \u201cWhat are we going to do?\u201d
\nCoz said \u201cWatch, and I will show you.\u201d
\nCoz made the high pitched sound.
\n\u2018The king\u2019 was on the dance floor spinning round.
\nHe was dancing with his chosen queen.
\nHe was about to have an embarrassing scene.
\nHis right hand turned to a reptile claw.
\nHis queen screamed at what she saw.
\nThen, she slapped his face.
\n\u201cThat\u2019s not funny\u201d as she stomped out of the place.
\nHe ran from the dance floor, neither was seen again.
\nCoz and his date were elected king & queen then.
\nFrom then on, the rest of the night was great.
\nBoth had a ball with their dates.
\nOn the way home they discussed what happened.
\n\u201c He had a fake claw he wore, so she slapped him.\u201d
\n\u201cThat was a stupid thing for him to do\u201d said Truly.
\n\u201cYes\u201d said Raywin \u201cImmature and goofy.\u201d
\nCoz and Tom didn\u2019t say what really went on.
\nThey didn\u2019t want to spoil the prom.
\nThey had the summer before them after the fling.
\nFirst thing, follow up on the so called \u2018king.\u2019
\nThe kids father was the town\u2019s mayor.
\nThey would check it out layer by layer.
\nHow many in the family were reptiles?
\nThey would be put in the secret files.
\nThey told Coz\u2019s dad and planned what to do.
\n\u201cI don\u2019t want a reptile coming for you.\u201d
\n\u201cNeither do I dad\u201d said Coz. \u201cNeither does Tom.\u201d
\n\u201cWell, I am glad it turned out well at the prom.\u201d
