Author\u2019s Dream, Or A Real Scene?<\/p>\n
The author was deep into his fantasy writing.
\nSuddenly, there was a flash like lightening.
\nHe looked around. A wizard was standing there.
\nHe felt a shock that raised up his hair.
\n\u201cWho are you? Where did you come from?\u201d
\n\u201cI am Thanos from a magical kingdom.\u201d
\n\u201cFrom your ancient past before known time.\u201d
\n\u201cBack when magic ruled and it was mine.\u201d
\n\u201cIf you are writing about magic, get it right.\u201d
\n\u201cI’ve come to correct that. Don\u2019t get uptight.\u201d
\nWith that he pointed his wand at the writer.
\nZap!! Everything changed. It was night here.
\n\u201cWhere am I. What happened?\u201d he asked.
\n\u201cYou\u2019re in my time. You are way in the past.\u201d
\n\u201cI will show you why magic didn\u2019t last.\u201d
\n\u201cI will show you how magic really works.\u201d
\n\u201cAlso, how we live with all its quirks.\u201d
\n\u201cBut, why? Why are you doing all this?\u201d
\nHe was scared. About to piss.
\n\u201cI wanted you to know such a time was actual.\u201d
\n\u201cIf writing about it, you can get things factual.\u201d
\n\u201cThis is insane. I must be dreaming.\u201d
\n\u201cI will change your mind about that.\u201d Scheming.
\n\u201cHere there is a war going on now.\u201d
\n\u201cBetween us and the evil wizards.\u201dHe scowled.
\n\u201cI want to zap them and turn them to dust.\u201d
\n\u201cThat would excite me like you would over lust.\u201d
\n\u201cThey will torture kids and rape a goat.\u201d
\n\u201cI would like to turn them all to smoke.\u201d
\n\u201cHow long has this war been going on?\u201d
\n\u201cSince the cradle of creation. It goes on and on.\u201d
\nHe whipped out a map and pointed to it.
\n\u201cTheir kingdom is here. They need a ship.\u201d
\n\u201c Much water separates them and us.\u201d
\n\u201cThey won\u2019t fly that far. They have no guts.\u201d
\n\u201cWizards can fly? I thought you used a dragon?\u201d
\n\u201cThey exist in this time but, no one can ride them.\u201d
\n\u201cTo fly long distances takes much magical energy.\u201d
\n\u201cIt is far better to wait till they come near me.\u201d
\n\u201cMy sources say an attack will happen tonight.\u201d
\n\u201cI brought you here so you can observe the fight.\u201d
\n\u201cWhat? Is it safe? I could be killed!!\u201d
\n\u201cYou will be safe. So it is willed.\u201d
\n\u201cI won\u2019t be fighting alone.\u201d
\n\u201cAll wizards will fight to defend the throne.\u201d
\n\u201cEvery spell that is known to us will be used.\u201d
\n\u201cThe same with them. Watch as it ensues.\u201d
\n\u201cYou will be protected by a powerful shield.\u201d
\n\u201cDo not worry. It will not yield.\u201d
\nThe writer could not believe what he was hearing.
\nHe kept shaking his head but, things were not clearing.
\n\u2018This is total madness\u2019 he thought to himself.
\nI am surprised I am not a fairy or an elf.
\n\u201cStay here a moment. I will be right back\u201d
\nThe wizard left and that was that.
\nHe looked around and he was at his desk.
\n\u2018What the hell\u2019 he thought. \u2018What a mess.\u2019
\n\u2018I must have fallen asleep?\u2019 \u2018But, it seemed so real.\u2019
\nAfter that \u2018dream\u2019, he didn\u2019t know how to feel.
\nIt did give him some good ideas for a new story.
\nHe could write about a wizard war, you see.
\nBut, he actually didn\u2019t \u2018dream\u2019 about the war.
