I once loved the music from the strings of your heart.
\nNow, that music is just tearing me apart.
\nThe strings of my heart play I love you.
\nYour heart strings now play we are through.
\nYours is such a hurtful and bitter sound.
\nNot like the music of the happiness I once found.
\nThe music is saying soon you will be gone.
\nThe saddest music number to come along.
\nThe music of nature has dropped a note.
\nThe music of the stars say “That\u2019s all she wrote.\u201d
\nOne is the saddest experience you\u2019ll ever know.
\nOne is sad. That\u2019s how the music goes.
\nTwo is so much better than one.
\nThat is, when the two can sound like one.
\nMy heart strings now only bring tears.
\nThe strings have rusted through the years.
\nA happier sound cannot be heard.
\nOne is the only sound. The final word.
\nOh, that my heart strings would ever sing again.
\nSo I could feel all the joy from within.
\nThe world would sing a happier tune.
\nLife music would heal the wound.
\nBut, it seems that can never come true.
\nFor I could never find another you.<\/p>\n
