Author\u2019s Dream, Or A Real Scene? (Part 2)<\/p>\n
The author was working on his latest book.
\nIt was getting dark when the windows shook.
\nHe heard: \u201cI am back. The enemy is coming.\u201d
\nHe was back in Thanos’s castle,\u00a0 & Thanos was running.
\n\u201cQuick, I will erect your protective shield.\u201d
\n\u201cYou don\u2019t have to worry. It will not yield.\u201d
\nHe had me stand, looking out over the yard.
\nI felt surrounded by something hard.
\nI couldn\u2019t see it, but I knew it was there.
\nI could feel the static in my hair.
\nSoon, wizards came into the courtyard.
\nThey had wands and were chanting hard.
\nA red flash shot across the scene.
\nA shield glowed around the hit being.
\nThe wizard fired back with a blue flash.
\nAt the gate, the perpetrator jumped back.
\nA wooden beam split and fell over.
\nRock fell on an evil wizard, the size of a bolder.
\nThey had to drop their shields to fire.
\nIf hit then, they became a live wire.
\nOne wizard fired and was hit by a spell.
\nHe immediately gave out a yell.
\nThen, he was clucking & scratching like a chicken.
\nThe spell had apparently gave him a lickin.
\nThe fight continued, spells flying back & forth.
\nWizard\u2019s fire flew, lighting up the court.
\nThen, the wizards, in sequence, created a scene.
\nThe greatest fireworks I\u2019d ever seen.
\nEvil wizards were screaming & running everywhere.
\nThere was static electricity in the air.
\nIt was so bright, I had to cover my eyes.
\nWhen I opened them, I was surprised.
\nI was back at my desk and fireworks were going off.
\nIt was the 4th of July. Many fireworks were aloft.
\nI could easily see them out of my window.
\nThe fairgrounds was a stone’s throw below.
\nHad I been asleep again? Was it a dream?
\nIt seemed so real, the entire scene.
\nHe would use the scene in his book.
\nBeyond that, he didn\u2019t want a second look.<\/p>\n
