I woke up with a start.<\/p>\n

To the rapid beating of my heart.<\/p>\n

I was in a basement cell.<\/p>\n

My head really hurt like hell.<\/p>\n

I was tied in a chair in the middle of the room.<\/p>\n

I couldn\u2019t see a lot in all the gloom.<\/p>\n

Soon people came to the single cell door.<\/p>\n

The light came on making my head hurt more.<\/p>\n

The general said \u201dSo, you finally woke up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sorry about the \u00a0hit on the head with the rifle butt.<\/p>\n

You were \u00a0using \u00a0your telepathic skills.<\/p>\n

To stop you the \u2018butt\u2019 made you still.<\/p>\n

You have been defying me.<\/p>\n

I could use your skills, you see.<\/p>\n

Sara here, has a special gift.<\/p>\n

She can erase all memories. she does it quick.<\/p>\n

Then I will work my gift on you.<\/p>\n

Mind control so you will \u00a0do what I want you to.<\/p>\n

My head hurt so bad I could barely think.<\/p>\n

But, I got his drift in a wink.<\/p>\n

I tried to fight my restraints.<\/p>\n

It was no use. He said that is what he thinks.<\/p>\n

First the general wiped all pain from my mind.<\/p>\n

That was a real relief, just in time.<\/p>\n

He said Sara can\u2019t work with interfering pain.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want any excuses that are lame.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sara approached with a snarl on her face.<\/p>\n

She knew exactly what would take place.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou will find this isn\u2019t a game.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou won\u2019t even remember your name.\u201d<\/p>\n

She placed her fingers on my temples.<\/p>\n

I screamed like crazy before everything goes.<\/p>\n

I woke up on the floor by my bed.<\/p>\n

I think when I fell I hit my head.<\/p>\n

I was shaking like a leaf.<\/p>\n

I could barely get to my feet.<\/p>\n

I had to get up so I could pee.<\/p>\n

No one was around as far as I could see.<\/p>\n

I went to the living room to sit for a bit.<\/p>\n

I was still shaking thinking of it.<\/p>\n

It was brought on by this Si Fi book.<\/p>\n

The one I was currently reading, as I shook.<\/p>\n

After awhile, I stopped shaking & was still.<\/p>\n

Now, where\u2019s that book. I have some time to kill.<\/p>\n
